What is PortTrip?
PortTrip is a planner for cruise port days. It answers the question that decides whether going it alone works: what is the latest I can leave, given my all-aboard time?
In one sentence
Checked guides for 185 cruise ports, a free planner that times each port day to your ship, and a Cruise Pass (€14.99) that does your whole sailing and goes live on the day with Google Maps travel time and alerts.
What makes it different
- Leave-by times per part of town. Not one rule like "two hours before", but a time for the old town, the beach, the train station, the next village.
- Queues counted. Tender lines, cable cars and terminal security are built into the times.
- Two clocks. All-aboard is in ship time; your phone shows port time. PortTrip shows both.
- Sources on every page. Each guide lists the official sources it was checked against, and when.
Who it's for
Cruisers who would rather see a port on their own than on a coach, and want to be sure of getting back. Especially useful on a first cruise, at tender ports, and anywhere the sights are a train ride from the ship.
Price
Guides and the single-port planner are free. Cruise Pass €14.99 for one sailing (up to 10 ports), Year Pass €39 for every cruise in 12 months. See pricing.
