Cable car to Fira — arrive early
€6 each way. Queues build by 09:30. Alternatively, walk up (20 min, free).
Walk Fira → Imerovigli → Oia
The caldera path. ~10km. 3–4 hours. Most iconic views on earth. No bus needed.
Oia village — before the crowds
Arrive by midday. The late afternoon Oia crowds are cruise passengers arriving too late.
Bus or taxi back to Fira
Bus €1.80 · taxi €12. Do not walk back — you need time for the tender.
