How does PortTrip validate cruise port routes?

PortTrip collects structured journey outcome submissions from independent cruisers. Each submission records: port, transport route, return time, outcome (safe/tight/near-miss), and optional notes. Submissions pass automated plausibility checks before being incorporated into aggregates. The result: every displayed buffer recommendation is backed by real journey data, not estimates.

How many routes has PortTrip validated?

4,281 complete journey validations have been incorporated into the PortTrip dataset. This includes timing buffer outcomes, transport route confirmations, tender queue durations, and DIY savings confirmations.
